KFC Coleslaw

Tastes the same as Kentucky Fried Chicken
Cut white cabbage, carrot and onion into fine and very thin strips about 2.5 inches long, either by hand or in a food processor.

In a large bowl, combine white cabbage, carrot and onion. Mix the remaining ingredients well in another bowl, possibly adding the mustard as well. Then pour over the white cabbage mixture. Season to taste.

Cover the bowl and refrigerate the coleslaw to infuse for at least 8 hours, but preferably 12 to 15 hours, so all the ingredients combine perfectly. To serve, remove from the refrigerator 1/2 hour ahead of time.

Coleslaw is best served as a side dish with hamburgers, pulled pork, hot dogs, barbecued pork and poultry, and of course BBQ.

800 g white cabbage
1 m.-sized carrot(s)
1 small onion(s)
65 g sugar, white
½ tsp. salt
⅛ tsp pepper, black
60 ml milk
125 g mayonnaise
60 ml buttermilk
1 ½ tbsp white wine vinegar
2 ½ tbsp lemon juice, fresh
¼ tsp paprika powder
½ tsp mustard, optional
